Oconomowoc Golf Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin.
Oconomowoc Golf Club first opened for play in 1916. The course was designed by Donald Ross.
In 1995 an aggressive course renovation program rededicated Oconomowoc Golf Club to the restoration of the original Donald Ross design while greatly enhancing the quality of play on all 18 holes as well as the practice facility. Continuing course improvements include the removal of hundreds of trees in recent years and the reseeding of all fairway to performance proven Bentgrass in 2009.
Typical of a Ross course, Oconomowoc requires accurate shots from every tee box. It requires you to be on the correct side of every pin. It challenges you with straight forward risk/reward opportunities. It has great bunkers. The course is a Ross treasure that has been nurtured well.
